Dave Hamor is Wavelynx's Vice President of Engineering, responsible for firmware development, firmware validation, hardware, and software across all product lines.

He brings more than twenty years in data storage, an industry where products ship in the tens of millions of units and a failure rate measured in parts per million is a recall.

Dave spent eighteen years at Seagate, beginning as a firmware test technician and rising to Senior Manager of Systems Integration Engineering. As an early member of its SSD organization he led firmware development for the company's enterprise NVMe SSD program, and built the twenty-engineer firmware team behind it, a team that held better than 80% retention through 2020.

Most recently, Dave spent six years at Intel and Solidigm, latterly as Firmware Validation Engineering Director, responsible for firmware validation across enterprise SSD programs while co-leading the 500-person firmware engineering organization.

At Wavelynx, he is building the development and validation discipline to match the company's growth, so that what Wavelynx ships stays as reliable as the company ships more of it.

Dave holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Regis University.
