Broomfield, Colorado, February 21, 2024- Today, Wavelynx announced the expansion of Company ID for their mobile wallet solution in partnership with Samsung. With Company ID in Samsung Wallet, users can now instantaneously access spaces and places at work using their Galaxy mobile device. Leveraging NXP® Semiconductors secure MIFARE® 2GO that is designed to manage digitized MIFARE product-based credentials, this expansion makes Wavelynx the first global manufacturer to offer a comprehensive mobile wallet solution.
With Samsung Wallet, users can carry their essentials on their Galaxy phone, including payment cards, digital keys, and more. With Fast Mode on Samsung Wallet, users can simply tap their phones, without needing to wake up their devices, to access office spaces and elevators, pay at vending machines, securely print, and more. With Power Reserve, Samsung Wallet users can still utilize their Company ID for up to 24 hours after their device powers down due to low battery1, making the Samsung Wallet solution even more convenient.
“We are thrilled at the opportunity to offer yet another amazing NFC Wallet solution to our customers through Samsung Wallet. Our mission has always been to provide the most comprehensive solutions, giving our customers a choice when opting to utilize this new technology.” Said Robert Lydic, president of Wavelynx. “The addition of Samsung Wallet into the Wavelynx portfolio is a natural continuation. We look forward to seeing the success of this solution in the market.”
